ASBESTOS CEMENT INFORMATION
Asbestos Cement Products; can be found in numerous building and some household situations, normally used as a fibre reinforcing to cement based products, most popular in the form of Corrugated Asbestos Cement Roofing Sheets and Flat Building Boards.
Extensively used throughout the world since the early 1940s up to the 1980s

It was used as;
- Corrugated roof sheets to Garages
- Farm Building.
- Factories and Warehouses
- Rainwater Gutters and Downpipes
- Floor Tiles
- Water Tanks
- Boiler Flue pipes
- Ceiling and Partitions
- Paint and Artex coatings

Asbestos Cement Product can contain as little 2% up to about 15% depending on the product, it is normally Chrysotile ( White Asbestos )
If Left alone and Undisturbed it is Not Normally a Health Hazard, However if Drilled, Ground or Crushed, it may Release Fibre.
It should be removed Whole and Unbroken and be Disposed of Properly.
